Official ticket vs Journey Wallet

The Journey pass you add to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or your calendar is a travel companion: route, times, transfers, ticket status and links. It is not a transport ticket and never contains a ticket barcode.

An official ticket comes from the transport operator or its authorized seller. Only that ticket — with its own barcode — is valid for inspection. We would show an official ticket in Wallet only through an authorized integration with the issuing operator; none exists today.
